| I work primarily from photographs. This avoids the inconvenience and expense associated with long posing session. Photographs supplied by the client are welcome, if the photos are of reasonable quality. If you have photos that you desire to use for the portrait, please mail them to me. We will work together to determine what will be the best pose and composition for a successful work of art. If you prefer a photo session, I will come to the location of your choice for a photo session. A photo session will take approximately 2 hours. There will be an additional charge to cover my travel expenses. I will select the photographs to be used as reference photos and submit them to you for comments. We can discuss the choices by phone, e-mail or in person. When you approve the final choices, I will proceed with the portrait. A signed commission agreement and a $100 deposit for Digital Portraits and a 40% deposit is for Oil Portraits prior to the start of the portrait with the remainder of the fee due at the completion of the portrait. I will paint posthumous portraits if you can provide quality photos and reference materials. We will work with you to make this a pleasant and enjoyable experience. |
